cheers to the creation of a blog! ahah.
hope you guys will discover a new fangled passion for climbing in your blood.. and NEVER grow sian of it! (so there jh! xp)
don't be afraid to approach the seniors when and ever you may need help in climbing((:
(tho, yes, im pretty frank and offend ppl like free like that.. sorry man! :S )
you can ask the coach too.. we all would be more than happy to help you guys!
anyway, there's more to climbing than you may think.. it's not all about finger strength or how many pullups you can do. climbing can help you grow physically and mentally :D you can also make new friends((:
yup. hope you guys will enjoy this 'new' experience and learn to love it!
There's a few sub-chapters to climbing.. (ahah, reminds you of studying no?)
Here's a few: Mental Strength, Technique, Physical Strength
And obviously you have to find the time to do conditioning (a lovely break from studying no?:D ) and to 'condition' your muscles too.. Otherwise it'd be 'bye-bye' to your 'hardwork' in building them up in the first place! So have fun people!
And it also helps to set targets/goals and go all out to acheive them (like say, I wanna finish this route during this training, and work towards it etc) but, try not to get stuck on one route only.. there are so many to try and what a waste it would be if you didn't try some other route which you discover, may be a nicer one and more fun! Try to err.. try at least 1 or 2 'new' routes or sth.. You may discover a 'hidden' talent or love of yours for that route/wall/move.. heh. im ranting. lol.
You can also watch your diet too.. ahah. If you really believe those stuff, then you're advised not to eat too much pork (or red meat for that matter..), to avoid fried, oily food (a perfect example is fast food) and to eat more white meat (if possible). So try to layoff junkfoods and red meat and eat more fish, fruits and veg! ahah. rrriiggghttt. :D still, if that doesn't really improve your climbing.. you can still be sure that you have a healthier diet:p hope that's been helpful to you guys.. ahah. like very lorsor.. ahah. ok, i shall stop nowxp
